This decluttering project definitely took me more than ten minutes, but it really helped me to be able to find ingredients more quickly. No more searching around for cans of tomatoes or spice packets!
Everything has its place, so if I don’t see something on the shelf, I know I need to pick it up at the grocery store. This has already helped me to save money on this week’s shopping trip!
I’ve also done some quick 10-minute decluttering projects. Check out my desk declutter, my countertop declutter, my closet declutter, and the mud room declutter for some inspiration, and to get an idea of how much you can get done in just 10 minutes.
Here’s a picture of my pantry before the decluttering. It wasn’t bad, but it was getting difficult for me to find things, and I was starting to have to use the floor for storage. Not good.
And here’s a picture of my pantry after working on it for about 90 minutes. Keep in mind I was working on this with the help of two preschoolers, so it probably took me longer than it normally would have. 🙂
