Welcome to the Beautiful, Useful Project! Inspired by William Morris’s quote, this project is all about letting go of the stuff we have accumulated, and making room to appreciate the things we truly enjoy and use. It’s also about getting rid of financial clutter and focusing on spending time and energy on the things we think are important.
I am in the process of decluttering our home after a big cross-country move, and I’m using this blog to document my progress, and to share my experience with others.
Here you will find strategies for getting rid of your stuff, and tips for tools and items that are truly useful and can make your life easier.
All of the cash I’m able to make by selling our stuff will go towards paying off my dreaded student loan. I’ll also share the money saving and money earning ideas I learn along the way.
I’m hoping this blog will help keep me motivated, and help me to meet other decluttering and organizing fanatics. To learn more about the project, check out the “About” page.
Thank you for joining me in the Beautiful, Useful Project!
