10 Minutes of Decluttering the Snack Drawer – Before and After Pictures

See how this snack drawer went from nasty to spacious with just 10 minutes of decluttering. Declutter your snack drawer.
10 Minutes of Decluttering!
Today’s 10-minute declutter was all about our snack drawer. Really, we mostly use it to store chips and larger bags that would be awkward in our pantry. But somehow, we ended up collecting a lot of random snacks that we never ate. There were some pretty scary finds inside:

Some of the delights I found inside were mini cereal boxes that expired in 2009, Halloween candy that was impossible to chew (I tried), fossilized licorice, and a few bags that had just one or two chips left in them. I emptied out the entire drawer, and trashed all of the suspicious items as I worked.

Here’s the empty drawer. I sanitized it and got rid of a ton of crumbs. I also thought a lot about how buying a hand-held vacuum would be awesome.

And here’s the snack drawer after its extreme makeover. One would argue that maybe this drawer would be better used as a pots and pans drawer? But that argument would probably be lost, as chips are very important in our home.
What decluttering projects are you thinking about completing? It’s amazing how much you can get done in just 10 minutes!
